Our Vineyards - Sonoma Coast

While Carneros has been an official AVA since 1983, its grape growing history reaches back to the mid-1800’s, and its reputation for cool-climate Pinot Noir to the 1940’s, when Louis Martini purchased 200 acres of Stanly Ranch and began clonal trials of Pinot Noir. In today’s Carneros, the older Martini clone, along with Dijon and Pommard clones produce wines that express the very best of Pinot Noir, with elegant structure, silky texture and pure, vibrant flavors.
